The Longhorn

We had a wonderful stay here and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool and hot tub after spending the day exploring Fredericksburg. The property was quiet, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Rudds are the best hosts ever ! Beautiful property very peaceful. Should have brought out binoculars for bird watching.

I was in town for business, it’s spring break and everything is overpriced. I found this adorable VRBO. I’m glad I chose it, when I arrived I was greeted by the two hosts, then the sweet barn cat, Johnny who wanted pets. On my way out to dinner- I stopped by a farm stand across the street, they had sourdough everything; bread, muffins, cookies as well as eggs, herbs and a few soaps from their adorable goats. What a special place. After I got back from town where I had dinner- I sat by the pool, enjoyed the 2 dozen hummingbirds sucking up their nectar dinner. Soon I was joined by beautiful cardinals and an arrangement of their birds. The actual room is perfectly sized, I had air control, full bathroom, kitchenette. I had everything I needed and felt completely safe. Btw- loved the welcome basket with treats, and the bottle watered provided. Thank you, Breck and Mike (and Johnny the cat) for being wonderful hosts!

Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating we loved the property and peace and quiet. We will be back when we are in the area !
